
Antonios TH. Ntalamagas
Antonios Th. Dalamagas was born in Gorgomylos, Preveza. He was the top graduate of the class of Second Lieutenants in 1963 from the Hellenic Military Academy. He graduated first from all the Military Schools in the country, including the School of Permanent Non-Commissioned Officers, the Hellenic Military Academy, the Supreme War School, and the National Defense School, among others. Beyond his military education, he holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, a degree in Mathematics from the University of Athens, and is an Electronics expert and a distinguished Doctor of Science. He has authored several scientific books and articles, as well as military-themed books and articles. He served as a commander at all levels of command within his branch in the Army and held numerous staff positions in the Hellenic Army General Staff, the Hellenic National Defense General Staff, and NATO (Deputy Military Representative of Greece to NATO). He is proficient in English and French. He served as the Commander of the 8th Infantry Division (Ioannina) for over two years (1994-1996), Deputy Chief of the Hellenic Army General Staff (1996-1997), and Commander of the First Army Corps (1997-1998).
