Kostas Krommydas

Kostas Krommydas is a graduate of the National Theatre. He was born in Trikala in 1971. For two years, he studied at the Athens Nursing Technological Educational Institute, which he left after being admitted to the Drama School of the National Theatre in 1992. He graduated from the school in 1995. For five consecutive years, he attended Andreas Manolakis's seminars on the teaching method of the Actors Studio. He was also a member of Zouzou Nikoloudi's "Choroi" for two years. He engaged in dance and participated in numerous dance performances with various dance groups. He attended many acting, movement, and dance seminars with Greek and foreign instructors. Kostas has worked as an actor in theater, television, and cinema. In 2018, he appeared in the third season of the popular English series "The Durrells." His first three novels ("The Life That Was Missing," 2013 - also available in English as "Cave of Silence"; "Ogres," 2014; "Forget-Me-Not," 2015) were in the final ten of the Public Book Awards. In May 2016, his novel "Ouranoessa" was published, which was awarded as the best novel of the year in 2017 in the "Heroine Inspiration" category. His novel titled "Light Within the Storm" has been translated into English as "Athora." He teaches acting and public speech. He also writes articles for websites, newspapers, and magazines.
